A total of 82 commentator positions and 43 Mixed Zone dedicated positions have been booked by radio and television broadcasters for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo.

Commentator positions will be available from 18 February to 6 March.

Operational periods
It should be noted that the normal hill, Midtstubakken HS 106, will be operational until the final competition 28 February has ended. The venue will then close down and the Ski Jumping operations will be de-rigged and moved to the large hill, Holmenkollen HS 134.
Accordingly, commentator opportunities are as follows:
- From the Cross-Country commentator positions, any event can be commented, including Ski Jumping, opening ceremony and medal ceremonies, in the entire NWSC period, 23 February to 6 March.
- From Midtstubakken HS 106, all Ski Jumping and Cross-Country events can be commented in the period 24 to 28 February.
- From Holmenkollen HS 134, all Ski Jumping and Cross-Country events can be commented in the period 1 March to 6 March.
CIS terminals in each position can be used for any event/venue and the international signal from all venues will be available on the CATV network.
Operating hours
Operating hours for commentator positions are 1 hour prior to and 1 hour after each multilateral transmission.
During competitions, sandwiches as well as hot and cold drinks will be available for commentators.
Mixed Zone positions
Each venue will have a Mixed Zone adjacent to the field of play.

Access
In addition to the RTV accreditation, special devices will be required for access to the Mixed Zone. For access to dedicated positions, blue RTV Mixed Zone armbands will be required. For ENG access, orange armbands will be issued, valid for all venues.
Mixed Zone Management
NRK Host Broadcaster coordinators will be present in the Mixed Zone to support broadcasters and supervise priorities. These coordinators are:

Lighting
The Mixed Zone will have basic lighting. Broadcasters may bring their own lighting equipment in dedicated positions, maximum height 180 cm. Power booking as well as cabling in the Mixed Zone is the responsibility of each broadcaster.
Bookable Interviews
NRK Host Broadcaster will establish a bookable position with staffed camera for pre and post event interviews or stand-ups. The position is available up until 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after each event and is subject to previous arrangement with the Booking Office.
